The 1982 edition of the GPz750, listed here as the Z 750GP, kept the 1981 specification: an air-cooled DOHC four with four 36 mm carburettors and a five-speed gearbox. It added a bikini fairing and clip-on bars to the sport-tuned chassis. For 1983 the bike was revised again with a new frame, Uni-Trak rear suspension and a more sport-focused chassis.
